Our first stay on this Adult Only CL but wont be our last. Communication was excellent with Nettie, and provided with clear instructions on how to reach the site.

All hard standings surrounded by grass on a raised section above the family smallholding, complete with chickens, ducks & geese. Water & electric to every pitch, and an undercover area to the left of the entrance provided the black & grey waste facilities.

The cost is currently £20 which includes 10 units of electric. They have an amazing hut which includes both an information section and a well stocked shop with an honesty box - 2 large refrigerators for all your chilled needs, and a variety of dried goods, eggs from the on site chickens and I believe, home baked sourdough on occasion.

Its about a 5 min walk back to the village that has a church, book swap in a telephone box next to the bus stop, buses to Ross on Wye & Monmouth.

There is no shop in the village (hence the boon of the on site shop, the nearest supermarket would be Ross, 5 miles away. The nearest pub is a 30 min walk to the next village, its only open lunchtimes on the weekend, evenings only weekdays.

The view from the CL is stunning and lovely walks in the surrounding countryside.

Avery nice cl site, we had water and electric to our spot.

The area is on a slight hill, so front-wheel drive set-ups and caravans will struggle if it's wet.

Beautiful area with good dog walks nearby.

Super helpful owners and very good clean services areas.

Well worth going.

Great value at the costs we paid.

A very nice site, with levelled hardstandings on the side of a hill, so good views over towards Ross on Wye. We thought that the directions were a bit vague and ended up in Llangrove. From the south, take the A4137 from the A40, turn left to Llangarron, past the church, past the phone box and bus shelter, next turn right about 300 yards up the hill, it's on the left.

Nettie the owner is lovely, she keeps the site pristine. There are ducks and geese in an enclosure just below the site which are entertaining. The bin area is to the left, good recycling. There may be various vegetables for sale, with an honestly box.

The basic price is a reasonable £18 per night, with 10 units of electricity included, which should be enough. Read your meter, fill in the card, leave it on the shelf near the bins.

It's easy enough to get everywhere, but some of the roads are very narrow. There are supermarkets at Ross, and a good walk along the river.

We would use the site again, and recommend it.
