What a gem of a adult only site, situated down a very long drive and behind the farm itself,
This lovely immaculate site is definitely a new favourite, the farmer met us at reception and showed us to our pitch, he then left us too it and returned an hour later to check everything was ok.
Each hard standing pitch is fully serviced with electric water and waste. There are no ‘facilities’ on site but that didn’t bother us as we have everything in the van itself.
The site itself is roughly 6 miles from the park and ride into York and there is a bus that passes the site if you need it.
The farm itself is immaculate, the tidiest farm we’ve ever seen, there is a beautiful lake to walk any dogs and watch the wildlife.
The site cost us £24 per night including electric, no extra charge for awning or dog. Will definitely return here if ever this way again.

This site is only 15 miles from home and an ideal bolt hole for us. It is fully serviced, large pitches and lovely friendly owners.
There is a beautiful lake to walk around and an abundance of wild life to watch.
Please bare in mind there are no toilets or showers but we always use our own even when they are available.
Situated close to York and not far from park and ride and major shopping centers, dogs are also welcome.

We has 2 pitches and were fortunate to get them next to each other. The site is within easy reach of York with a bus stop 100 yards up the road.
The site is neat, every pitch has its own tap. You need strong pegs as the hardstanding is very compact.
The owners are very friendly and I am sure if we needed anything they would have assisted.
Very peaceful with no road noise.
If we are back in the area will definitely revisit.

Lovely little site on a working farm, fully serviced pitches makes a few nights here a doddle.
Wonderfully peaceful, calm and relaxing atmosphere is in itself worth the fees.
If you need to get away from the bustle of everyday life and just want to relax for a while, this is definitely the place for you.
Highly recommended.

Fantastic site. Very welcoming. Lots of space.
Good walk nearby to enjoy with the dog.
Been several times and positive about every visit.
Great place to bring our caravan for both short or long breaks.
My husband has family in Yorkshire so ideal for us to visit them all.

Everything was perfect about this site, well kept, peaceful and the owners were genuine good people.
Walking around the lake after tea was a delight and plenty of wildlife to watch.
Hopefully we will be back again soon.

We recently retired and decided to take off in the caravan for a couple of months to recharge our batteries and found this site,
The owner is smashing and was happy to share with us his knowledge of the area, there is a bus stop just down the road so can visit York and selby
The site is clean and tidy to say it's a working farm,
It is fantastic for bird watching, peaceful and quiet,
The pitches are huge so could fit our 2 cars at no extra charge, with own tap, 16amp electric and waste water,
There are no facilities but for the price we didn't think that was too much of a hardship
Would definitely go back thanks for a lovely stay

My Wife and I have recently retired from the rat race and so looking for somewhere to relax and come to terms with our new status. I’m writing this review while staying here.
We came across Old Pasture Park while searching for a different area to visit and it ticked all our boxes. Adults only, working farm, quiet, fully serviced pitches without showers or toilets, which is made very clear. We are totally happy to use the toilet and shower in our caravan so, not an issue.
For like minded people this site is perfect. Yes, you have to drive nearly 4 miles to the nearest supermarket. There isn’t a nearby pub but, it’s a really tranquil place to be. The pitches are flat and spacious. There is a lovely walk around the private lake. The Red Kites and Buzzards fly overhead during the day watched carefully by the pheasants which roam free over the site. The cattle moo during the day, the owls hoot at night and when the sky is clear you can see the Milky Way.
There is also loads to visit in the vicinity, if you’re prepared to plan and drive to them.
We took the Park and Ride located at the Designer Outlet less than five miles away to get to and from the beautiful city of York. It’s free to park your car and the Number 7 double decker bus departs every ten minutes and takes all the stress out of driving into York and finding somewhere to park.
The Yorkshire Air Museum and Allied Air Forces Memorial is not far away and well worth a visit.
We will be visiting The Deep in Hull, The Jorvik Centre in York and hopefully Whitby this week, all within reasonable striking distance.
Our host. Sam, is totally committed to his guests and will go the extra mile to ensure they are happy and settled during their stay. Finally, all the pitches are occupied, which speaks volumes.

Pleasant views, quiet.
Not good for people with motorhome as cannot walk anywhere from site, road had no footpath or verges.
Nearest public house closed.
We used park and ride at retail outlet to go into York.
Site itself okay but have to mark down as no toilets or showers.
