The site has loads of potential to be great but is in need of tlc.

Set in a nice village and not to far from the A34 for overnight stops as we required.

No one at reception when we arrived, so we had to call. A text should have been sent ahead of arrival but wasn’t received.

There is a kitchen and bar in an old horse trailer, neither were open. A large aviary with a variety of birds and a goat pen is good for little ones.

Toilets/showers are basic but were clean, as with most parts of the site, a bit of renovation is needed

The site was very spacious and staff were very friendly.

The birds of prey were a real hit with the children and adults, and the member of staff with the birds was very knowledgeable.

Close to a lovely village with a couple of pubs and the canal.

Only downside was that the grass was a little long - but certainly didn't ruin our stay!
