Used this new site as a stop-over, en route from the mainland via Isle of Bute to Kintyre: we took the ferry over to Tarbert next day. There are two halves to the site - a lower tent area enclosed by bushes (with facilities in a portacabin), and a higher open MH area.
No caravans - it's a single track road to reach here. Maybe the quickest online booking process ever; pick your own hardstand pitch after checking in at Reception - friendly welcome, but minimum information given.
Free Wi-fi. Views over Loch Fyne with the wee ferry coming & going, or over the marina; each pitch has EHU and water; there's an awkward MH drive-over at the nearby bike hire portacabin; an open BBQ area; and bins & good recycling down by the boats.
The. Best. Showers. Ever. The facilities are used by the people in the big yachts in the marina, they're not like any campsite that I've ever been on, more like a spa hotel and spotless. Keypad entry after Reception closes.
Dog walks right around the marina to the breakwater or in Glenan wood (north of the site) or south to a standing stone at Stillaig, with views to Arran. Even iOrienteering (QR codes on posts around the area). There's a restaurant, or take-away's from the pool cafe; the waterside shop has basic food, boating tackle, posh clothes, cocktail glasses. Worth a browse! Boat trips are available, though we didn't investigate these.
I left feeling so "chilled" & relaxed that I want to come back for longer: next time I'll bring my swimming kit & use the lanes pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and the outdoor infinity pool looking over the sea to Kintyre (£12 for 90 minutes). Total blissful silence at night. This site could be a destination, not a stopover.
The only downside is the cost - £35 is expensive, but it's the same as the CAMC CL at Largs Yacht Haven (a similar setting). And the site is not supervised or overlooked in any way: people walk up around the pitches for the views, with their dogs off lead. Won't stop us coming back!
