 A lovely small site, ( we were the only ones there for 4 days of the 7 ). Two fishing ponds, the non match pond is kept really tidy, you will catch something here, didn't try the match lake.
The railway line next to the site was not a problem for us, but freight trains do run through the nigh, ( again didn't bother us ).
Great location for Metheringham, and the " top wok " Chinese takeaway away is a must, Easy to get to the railway station to Peterborough or Lincoln.
The downside of the site is the security, as there is a public footpath running between the main lake / owners house and the camping field, so anybody can walk in unnoticed, not a nice feeling when we were the only ones there. ( Nothing ever happened, but we couldn't rest properly ).
Would we go again, possibly, but it would be the security side that would keep us away.

A lovely well kept site.
Owners were very friendly & helpful.
So peaceful.
Only a 10 minute walk into Metheringham.
All the facilities you need. Pubs, Shops & takeaways.
I would definitely recommend this site.

Excellent location from the restaurants in the village to the local railway station.
5/10 mins walk to the station then train to Lincoln, 13 mins away. Well worth the visit.
Site owners are very friendly and keep the wc and shower room clean.
Spacious pitch’s and mains hook up. £20 per night.

Good location. Lots of walks for the dog.
Good fishing. Lovely friendly people.
10 minute walk to village. Lots of takeaways and the local Coop.
A little gem in the countryside we will return.

Had another lovely long weekend
Nice and peaceful

We were given a friendly welcome on arrival.
There are 6 grass touring pitches in a peaceful area of the site, with EHU.
The toilet and shower were really clean inside.
It's a lovely spot and perfect for a peaceful stay.

Had a great stay here, site is family run by lovely people.
Brand new toilet and shower unit.
The village is a short walk and has everything you might need, pubs, supermarket, Indian and Chinese restaurants etc.
The fishing was great too. Caught loads from Meg lake and will try Fen lake when we return which we will certainly do in the near future.
