Average large campsite with pool, café/bar serving snacks and drinks and a small shop. The enjoyment of the pool was tempered on one day when loud music was throughout a Sunday.

Facilities dated and some weren’t open when we were there. Showers hot but washing & dishes water were cold. Washing machines cos 6 euro a go. Wifi ok.

Many pitches were reasonably access was by narrow lanes and we were warned by reception not to get stuck in the sand while pitching!

Hook up leads >15m are necessary for some pitches.

Motorhome point is accessible.

Nazare is well worth a visit and there is a sort of hourly bus service from outside the camp. We took a taxi for 8 euro into the old town on the hill with stunning views, took the funicular railway which for some reason stops working at noon down to the prom for 5 euro.

The streets behind the prom are worth a meander through. The taxi from the rank next to the Mercado back to camp was 5 euro.
