Perfect place to stay when on Coll when in your campervan.
The 24 hour toilet/shower was very clean and the staff member who checked us in was very friendly and helpful.
It’s only a 5 mins walk into Arinagour where there are a few places to eat.
We had dinner in the Coll Hotel and the cafe and the food was delicious in both.
Would definitely recommend staying here.

Stayed at Coll bunkhouse for 3 night. Booked a hook up with hard standing for our stay. ( prices have gone up a bit compared to other reviews). We had our 7 year old granddaughter with us and our 2 dogs.
Facilities at the bunkhouse were great. There was 24 hour access to toilets and showers which were always spotlessly clean and provided basics like handwash etc.
The community hall is where the toilets/ showers are housed. Showers £1 for 3 minutes. This facility is available for anyone to use and we used it on one particularly wet and windy day. Wi Fi available. There was a new play park area next to the hall and bunkhouse which kept our granddaughter amused between trips around the island.
Sam was very friendly and extremely helpful.
I would stay here again if visiting Coll by motorhome as the facilities were very good and good value for money. They were within easy walking distance of the only shop, post office, cafe and hotel in Arinagour.
Beware - the P. O. Is only open till 1pm and the shop opens 10 till 1pm and 5pm till 6pm except on Sunday when it is closed so be sure to bring everything you will need as it is quite expensive to purchase anything from the shop.
Overall- great trip and facilities.
Please note there is nowhere close by to dispose of your toilet waste so be prepared to use the toilet facilities on site instead of the vehicle toilet or drive to one of the farm campsites out of the village and pay to empty there.
Also - although there are many beautiful beaches they are difficult to access. You have to park quite a bit away and walk in. Some are 20+ minutes walk from your car. A local advised that there a couple that are only a 5 minute walk but we only found this out on our last day. There are no beaches easily accessible so be prepared. We hoped to paddle board but alas the terrain beat us.
Lots of cyclists if that’s your thing. Roads are extremely narrow with passing places so caution required !

This site is essentially a gravel parking area with EHUs, situated next to a hostel and community centre.
It’s around five minutes walk to the shop, petrol station and the hotel which does excellent food.
Users have access to toilets and showers in the community centre, showers require coin payment.
Dishwashing facilities are within the hostel but you don’t have access to other facilities there.
Coll is a lovely island and well worth a visit in its own right or as part of a trip to Tiree.

Some might not call this a Campsite but its facilities are better than quite a few we've stayed on.
There are 4 ehus on an area of flat ground about 20m from the Coll Bunkhouse and An Cridhe Community Centre.
We paid £12/night plus £3 for hookup. Water, food prep and dishwashing facilities are accessible in the Bunkhouse laundry but access to the Bunkhouse itself is barred.
Toilets and showers (£1 for 3 minutes) are available 24 hrs in the Community Centre which is also open for coffee/hot drinks from 10-3 and offers free wifi.
The Site is ~100m from the Coll Hotel, the shop and Post Office and 1km from the ferry. There is no facility on Coll to dispose of chemical toilet liquids. This must be done off island.
We really enjoyed staying here, staff were helpful and gave us a good insight into island life. There is bike hire too.
Coll is a stunning island with lots to see and experience, a real gem, well worth a visit.
Strongly recommended.
