Fabulous location, the beach is spectacular, and a good walk up to the castle. Be careful when swimming of the wooden spikes covered at high tide just to the right of the campsite.
Nearby hotel is handy for a drink (we didn't eat there)
Cafe is good for coffee but closes at 4 and the shop doesn't really have much that's useful for camping.

What a beautiful setting, peaceful with the beach on your doorstep.
This little hidden gem was amazing if you love the beach with its beach bar/cafe and hotel walking distance way.
The site was good with space and dog walks.
The river runs down to the sea and castle ruins to your right and caves on the left of the beach.
The only thing I had a problem with was the toilet and shower block which is needing updated with a lot more showers & toilets for the site size.
Would I visit again YES the beach is something else.

Excellent site. Great access to a lovely beach through the dunes.
Good toilet and shower facilities and lovely little cafe and shop.
Staff very helpful and lovely to interact with throughout. Only interaction before arriving was via email (no phone number) which was not evidently not being regularly monitored. This is my only negative of the site. Once I arrived the booking issue (which was my error) was dealt with easily and smoothly though.

Lovely small site just behind the dunes and glorious beach.
Independent cafe on site serves basic meals and hotel with Bistro very near.
Narrow road with passing places for two miles after leaving main road.
Very peaceful.

Beautiful location, peaceful and so close to the beach and other walking areas.
Good facilities, great cafe and also a fab restaurant/bar serving delicious food and good value wine.
Will definitely be back!

Lovely little site close to beautiful 4km long sandy beach and dunes.
All necessary facilities including good, hot showers kept spotlessly clean.
Very reasonable price with EHU.
Can thoroughly recommend.

Love this campsite.
Such a great spot.
Lovely café. Great facilities.
Good amount of space per pitch.
Could do with a couple more bins is my only criticism.

Very quiet, couple of miles of Arbroath.
Peaceful.
Beach maybe 3 mins away, beautiful sand beach.
Camping facilities are a bit outdated, but we were happy.
Toilet, sink, showers and electricity points.
Could score a 100 out of 10 for value for money.
