We liked this site although the facilities are basic.
Toilets with cold water only, a water tap near the toilets.
EHU was available although we didn't use it.
An interesting place - the owner has installed a water wheel on the site of an old fulling mill.
The wheel creates green power for his house and car. A very interesting man to talk to.
The camp field is an orchard and we were the only people there.

A very basic site. The water is a little away in another section of the site but not to far. My 3 lengths of expanding hose got water close to the caravan.
It is a very secluded site, surrounded by trees and bushes, so as we were the only campers we could sunbathe for even suntans. There is a path beside the camp and even walks in the camp premises. So dog walking is very good.
There is a sign by the water area saying 'To the Lake'. Just through the gate we found 6 sheep, so make sure leads are on here. The sheep actually followed right at my heels for a bit, even with dog on lead.
Then we walked on by a small river, overgrown at the banks so not directly accessible. I thought that was the lake but then we came to the lake. It must have been very nice once, with an island and little fishing platforms but now 100% surface covered in blanketweed.
Another feature of the site is the water wheel for an ancient press, I suppose for cider apples. This is disconnected but the wheel is very much in use to power and electric generator.
The entrance to the campsite is a bit off-putting at first glance being a bit of a Steptoe yard as another reviewer wrote elsewhere, although it is well worth a look at the water wheel generator and associated disused old press machinery.
Once through the first gate, first appearances don't improve as the first field has caravan storage but the caravans look long abandoned.
However the next field with the pitches is well kept and as I said secluded.
Owner is very helpful, informative and friendly. Yes we would definitely stay there again.
