It's a shame that this site is as poor as it is. It has so much going for it in terms of its position on the lake and the water activities.

Our main criticism was the poor state of the outdated amenity block and it's lack of cleanliness. In the first four days we were there we never saw any evidence of cleaning.

The pitch sizes are very good but more water points are needed. The reception area and bar was very tatty and we decided on that basis not to eat there.

Access is made difficult a poorly designed entrance. Security was poor over the weekend when perimeter gates were left unlocked and the site was invaded by a bunch of local yobbos at 2:00 AM.

Will not be returning.

It would not take a great effort to make this site extremely attractive on all levels
