 This was a one night stop up to Wick. It was really easy to book. Phoned at arrival to access site and where to pitch. We had no electric so we’re on ‘late arrivals’ area. A large gravel area.

The site looks new and well designed for stopovers. The pitches are all hardstanding - most with ehu and water tap on the pitch.

There are 2 toilets on site and 1 shower. The site is just off the main road into Golspie but I couldn’t hear the road and I am usually quite sensitive to noise. The site is in a small business park that was quiet and had lots for places to do a quick dog walk

The toilets were very clean and It's a short 10 minute walk to the town.

We would recommend the site for a stopover and use again. It was a reasonable price too.

 We used this site to break the journey to and from Orkney. Booking was straightforward via the website, communication with Anne was great.

The site is well laid out, adjacent to the A9 but we didn't notice any road noise overnight. Facilities were spotlessly clean with two toilets and a shower (£1 for four minutes).

Weather was kind to us on both stopovers - the walk up Golspie Burn and waterfalls is lovely, the shade from the trees was most welcome.

Had the obligatory ice cream from Capaldis (ate it on the beach) and fish and chips from The Trawler - highly recommend.

Sites like this are so valuable when travelling - I just wish there were more in the UK.

 We booked this site for 1 night as a Stopover heading south from Orkney as it is ideally placed just off the A9.

Nice warm welcome from Ann and we picked our own pitch.

The site is very new and well planted out with divided pitches. The pitches are all hardstanding with ehu and water tap on the pitch.

There are 2 toilets on site and 1 shower which was not working due to a technical failure but was being fixed.

The toilets were very clean and tidy. It's a short 10 minute walk to a glorious beach and the same distance to the town.

We would recommend and use again.
