Fantastic welcome by Paul and Shirley.
Fantastic facilities, also very dog friendly.
Furze Farm is an absolute gem of a place.
Immaculately clean.
One bathroom/shower/Toilet per pitch. Extra large pitches and fully level.
Getting around in Louth is easy. Just use call connect on the phone app, and it’s a couple of quid into Louth, and return can be booked also. If you return too late, there are plenty of Taxis and roughly £10 to get back.
Definitely worth a visit and we hopefully will be returning.

Let’s start with the good … excellent idea to have own washes, toilet and shower, nice games room & secure site with dog walk and children.
The Splash pub is nice but definitely not within walking distance especially if physically unable. Louth church is beautiful.
However … and here’s the sting … the road noise was unbearable, there’s no pub/restaurant open daily within walking distance, no little shop or takeaway, great if you want to drive everywhere and have nothing to do or see.
We left two nights early and when asked if we’d had a nice stay after dropping the keys off, I mentioned it was a shame about the traffic noise to which the owner replied ‘ well you are living in a tin can’ so rude…erm that tin can and many others pay a premium to stay. Do not recommend.

Management response: We are very pleased you like our private toilet/shower facilities, games room and also the secure dog walk. But we are adults only site no children!
The Splash pub is open every day and very nice indeed, so many customers do in fact walk to and also The Queens pub which is even closer, both within walking distance directly from site.
If any customer is physically unable to walk there is a bus service directly from site which can be booked up to 7 days in advance, which also takes customers to many other places of interest.
Louth Church is beautiful. We agree with you. Regarding any road noise which is in fact not an issue for 99% of customers visiting. There is a shop within walking distance and there are lots of various takeaway's that deliver directly to site too.
Within this beautiful country side area of outstanding natural beauty there are indeed many places to visit and go, on our web site are further suggested details of places to see and visit.
It's a shame you left two nights earlier, the comment made 'well your living in a tin can' was not in any way rude it's a saying within the caravan fraternity meaning 'not bricks and mortar' or an awning is 'divorce in a bag' and 'seagulls on the roof' meaning it's raining.
Your 'set up' meaning caravan & car looked fantastic and of course you would have paid a premium for this which you should use and enjoy accordingly.
We are sorry that you would not recommend our site, and we know we cannot please very one needs but we are obviously are doing things correctly with so many customers returning year on year and over whelming kind comments. |

A rating of 10 all round. Such a lovely site, the individual private bathrooms was such a treat.
The owners Paul and Shirley made me feel so welcome and they are always willing to lend a hand in need.
The site is 18 pitches which are all fully serviced hard standing and plenty of grass between them.
Loved it so much I'm going back next month

If it were possible to give 11 stars out of 10 this site would fully deserve it.
Huge, new level fully serviced pitches well spread out. New shower block immaculately maintained.
The extra star is for the individual shower/toilet cubicles. One for each pitch! You get your own key which means you can leave towels and toiletries in your private space. True luxury.
Furze Farm is perfectly located for coast or country. Louth has a huge Co-Op and is just a few miles away (and has a spectacular medieval church).
Nature reserves on the coast about half an hour drive and Lincoln city about 45 minutes. If you get the chance to do the roof tour of the cathedral you will not regret it - truly amazing.
Slightly further the Gibraltar Point nature reserve is a must. Furze Farm is on our must return list.

What can you say about this site. One of the best sites we have stayed on. On arrival paul and shirley welcomed us and the showed us round the site.
The pitches are large and flat, you get a key for a private toilet/shower. There is electric, water and waste on each pitch. I need to mention the owner paul and shirley as they are two of the nicest people you will meet and nothing is to much trouble, there is a games room.
With there only being 18 pitched there is plenty of room and the site is very quite.
Louth is only 5 minutes in the car or a small bus ride from outside the site. Also maplethorpe and skegness in with 30mintes drive.
Can wait to go back
