 I would like to thank snowy and lil and ross for the welcome to their lovely site
I found it ideal for a bus stop out side the gate and a shop just down the road
The site is well looked after
When you meet snowy you will not forget him or his family
I will definitely be going back.

OK for a stopover, about 9 miles from the M1, but nearly all dual carriageway. Easy to find as there is a large sign, on the right as you approach Sileby from Cossington.
Entrance is a metal gate with a code, phone the owner who will soon arrive with the numbers. The entrance looks tight, but is plenty wide enough.
The site is on level well drained grass and has a nice outlook over fields. There are many cherry trees; the fruit wasn't quite ripe when we were there.
Recycling, water supply and cwd are all well presented, clean and tidy.
Cost is £20 per night plus metered electricity which seems a bit steep, put we only put £1 in the meter and it lasted the 3 nights. I think everyone must do the same.
There are plenty of shops and fuel stations around, not so many good walking places, but we found one by the river on the way to Cossington.
We would use the site again as a stopover.
