 I do love a muni. Large pitches, plenty of trees for shade.

If you have children there's a lake/large pond just outside the site with a life-guarded beach, bar, pedalos and showers. There's also a crazy golf course. Despite this there wasn't any excessive or intrusive noise and everything was silent by 10pm.

Nice clean sanitaires. Decent free wi-fi.

No fridge/freezer for us non-EHU types but it's five minutes walk to a Super you which sells ice. Fifteen minutes walk to the centre of Bourgueil.

Entry and exit is controlled by a barrier so make sure you arrive when the accueil is open.
