We chose this site for our very first trip away in our touring caravan. We were not disappointed! We were welcomed by Gwen and David who were the perfect hosts.
The site is small but spotless and well equipped. The toilet disposal area is clean and tidy with a hose for washing out the cassette after use. Bins were provided for recycling and electric hardstanding pitches were available.
The site is rural and simply beautiful for nature lovers. We were hit by a winter storm on New Years Eve, but enjoyed every moment 'surviving', tucked up in our little van. The location is superb, right in the middle of Anglesey.
Gwen and David live on site and are on hand if you need anything at all. However, they leave you to it if you prefer your own company. We were so delighted with the site, we will return in the Summer.
Highly recommended for peace, tranquillity and a lovely well kept site.

Our first stay with Gwen and David at Llys y Wenol but certainly not our last. This site is in a peaceful natural environment with super views across the countryside including stunning views of the Snowdon range in the distance. Pitches are fully serviced, widely spaced, immaculately kept and easily accessible.
Anglesey is a beautiful island and all of the magnificent coastline is within easy reach of the site.
Gwen is the most enthusiastic host with a wealth of local knowledge and is happy to lend guidebooks as well as offering personal recommendations. We could not have been made more welcome.
Llangefni town is minutes away and has a variety of shops, cafes etc together with well stocked supermarkets and a camping shop for last minute items and vital equipment.
Cycling from the site is on quiet lanes and there is a cycle route to the coast within easy reach.
Wildlife is abundant and Gwen and David are actively encouraging birds, including resident tawny and barn owls and red squirrels with nest boxes and feeding points. Sheep graze very close to the caravans but are safely the other side of a well maintained fence.
There is a well provided and tidy recycling area and hygienic chemical toilet disposal point.
We would highly recommend this site and know you’ll be well looked after.
