Perfect tenting campsite with very well spaced pitches, fire pits, a composting loo and a lot of privacy in a gorgeous location between Framlingham and the Suffolk coast.
You are tucked away on a working farm, surrounded by nature, with owls and stars at night.
Shower blocks are elegant and immaculate, (with flush loos) and everything very well planned: there is an honesty shop, fridge and freezer provision, and a kettle and microwave available if you don't want to cook on your own site, with tables for eating on a large and pretty patio (herbs growing in pots to which you can help yourself).
I have camped here 3 times now and am always impressed at the level of thought and service that have gone into providing a camping holiday that has all the benefits and none of the drawbacks of camping as it used to be done, in the heart of unspoiled nature.

A very attractive campsite with good facilities and huge pitches, many of which are quite private. The management are very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
You can have campfires on the pitches. On the downside (of course, this is subjective), you can’t drive your car to the pitch – you need to put your gear in a wheelbarrow provided, and wheel it to the pitch.
Also, a lot of the pitches are a bit of a hike from the facilities, so you have to not mind doing a fair amount of walking!
Unfortunately for us, the local pub was not open on the days that we were camping; nor was the local café.
There is also a bed and breakfast attached to the campsite.
