 This was our first outing since covid and it was a great choice. Peaceful and quiet, great views, on the foothills of the Sperrins with great views.
Facilities are fairly normal for a CS, but there are separate toilet / shower rooms which are spotless and each pitch is fully serviced. The owner meets you on arrival and is very helpful.
There is a short woodland walk on site, and a longer walk down to the river and back, maybe 2km. Off site but nearby are walks in Gortin Glen forest park, Gortin lakes and Robblers Table.
There is golf in Newtownstewart, a small shop in nearby Gortin village and lots of facilities (pool, cinema, supermarkets, etc) 20km away in Omagh town. The Ulster American folk park is worth a visit too.
We loved it. Right place at the right time, and we would definitely go back. A bargain.
