 Great eco friendly campsite close to Coverack and the coastal path.
Friendly and helpful hosts.

This is a superb site of its kind, its kind being 'simplicity'. That is to say, simplicity achieved only with great intelligence and care.
Each 'simple' thing is done to perfection, as if it's someone's 'labour of love' rather than a commercial enterprise. For instance, signs nicely hand painted with a leafy border.
Don't be put off by the composting toilets. There are plenty of them distributed around the site, of an improved type that separates liquids from solids and is completely smell-free.
The shower cubicles are exceptionally large with a perforated wooden floor collecting the water, plenty of hooks and a good flow of hot water. The pitches are exceptionally well spaced, some with electricity and hard standing. Others have views down to the sea.
There is a steep footpath from the back of the site into Coverack that avoids even the quiet road. The village is quite picturesque, with a good pub and an excellent fish and chip shop.
Our good impression was matched by the American friends we were camping with. They have long experience of camping in USA, Australia and Spain and have themselves acted as volunteer camp wardens at the Grand Canyon. They pronounced it one of the best sites they had stayed at anywhere.
