 Absolutely delightful campsite. If you are looking for a peaceful place to camp I can’t recommend it enough.
The shower and composting toilets may not be to everyone’s taste, but that wasn’t a problem for any of us.
Had a wonderful weekend with the extended family and everyone loved it here!

Just what I was looking for. Tent only campsite in a semi wild setting. 2 loos and 1 shower. Water on every pitch and a firepit.
Very good location 2 or 3 hundred yards from the river Stour with views over the water to Essex, and the Royal Hospital school at Holbrook.
Owner came to welcome me and bring some firewood, very friendly chap. I was the only person on site so peace and quiet was in abundance.
There are no shops within the immediate area, so take all you need.
There is no electric on site, so make sure you take a good light with you.
I will visit this site again, I just loved the feeling of wild camping but with basic facilities.
