1st time using a motorhome. Lady who answered the phone was very friendly and helpful.
Asked for a quieter pitch as we have a dog which we were given.
Great site, lovely and clean.
Toilet and shower block were spotless.
It even has an enclosed secure field if you wanted to let your dog use it.
Didn't use the outside terrace area at the hotel because it was raining but definitely would have eaten there had it not been raining as menu looked lovely.
If you're a horse lover this place is ideal. Lots of horses in the paddock and it offers riding lessons.
Would definitely use this site again. And it's open all year.
We paid £50 for 2 nights on a hard standing full service pitch which we were happy to pay.

Back again as a first night stopover heading up through Scotland.
Can only echo previous review with a couple of notes.
Price is now £25 per night including electric, showers, dogs etc.
When you book you should get an email with pitch number, loo block code etc. We didn't- rung on arrival and given pitch number but we didn't think about code for loos - luckily reception is open all evening so rang and they gave us it.
Highly recommend this site as a stopover as its easy access from M8 but would also use if staying longer in the area.

Lovely clean site. We were on a pitch looking over the fields where we watched the horses & cows but we asked to be moved because of the levelling.
John was so helpful & friendly he got us moved straight away.
The pitch had electric, water & drainage also all pitches had a picnic table.
The toilets were spotless but I did not like the shower set up. We had a lovely meal in the club house.
If you don't fancy going out for a meal they do take aways.
Would go back again.
The prices are very reasonable.
If you needed anything there was a co-op just 5 mins away. There are also some lovely places to visit which were easy to get to from the site.
All in all we had a lovely time & would go back.

A real wow of a site and location.
You arrive at the Country Club, drive through the stables and horse arenas area to a super new campsite.
40 pitches, all hardstanding with large grass areas between and picnic bench. The pitches all slightly on an slope to the side, so need levellers, they are large enough for motorhome and awning or caravan and car.
Electric and water at every pitch. Grey and black water disposal at motorhome drive over.
Lovely toilets and great electric showers. Showers don't have an area to dress in - its communal outside the showers like in a gym.
There is also a laundry and washing up in the facilities block.
The site is part of the Country Club so you can use the restaurant and bars (takeaway available). Lots of walking in the paddocks and horse riding available ( probably best to book in advance).
Minutes by car into the village which has a Coop and takeaways.
At £30 it was excellent value - its really not just a motorhome stopover, more a 5* campsite.

Very surprised there were no disabled facilities what-so-ever on this Luxury Site.
The pitches are a good size but are not fully serviced. No drainage on pitch.
Sharing shower facilities with other campsite members are not functional.
A dog exercise area would be a bonus.
