This is a great campsite if you like the simple life. Cold shower, washing up facilities, port-a-loo and basic essentials in small stall with an honesty box.
Best of all you can walk to Broad Haven South sandy beach in minutes and the St Govan's Inn is a ten minute walk away. Down to earth honest pub grub.
Beach is good and generally tidy and fishing from rocks for Bass if you are lucky and Mackerel. I didn't catch anything!
The Stackpole Estate National Trust has The Lilly Ponds good for a low level walk mostly and the remains of Stackpole Court and the walled garden with fresh produce in season.
A further walk around the headland takes you to Barafundle Bay, a superb beach, but no facilities and then to Stackpole Quay where there is a pleasant tea room and NT Car Park. From there you can go cross country back to the 8 Arch Bridge and the path of The Lilly Ponds takes you back to Broad Haven South Beach. Stackpole has a pub with fine dining.
I have been going here for 10 years and mostly stayed at Buckspool Farm Campsite. Simon who runs it is good and kindly. If you are prepared to rough it a bit ignore other reviews.
In my book 9/10 but I was in the army a fair bit! Happy days to all. Aye JJ

Basic camp site, nice clean and tidy. Owners were very pleasant and helpful.
Only £6 per adult & £4 each child, water and porta loos on site.
Kids playing and enjoying themselves being kids, I'd say 15-20 minutes to walk to a loverly beach.
10 minute walk up to St. Govions pub, very friendly helpful staff with a wide range of menu choice & dog friendly too.
Buckspool site, we will return with our granddaughters, as we also felt safe on the site to.
There was a barn we had a few basic food items to purchase ( with the use of an Honesty box )
Recommend this peaceful chill site.

Buckspool is my favourite campsite. It is very, very basic but for £6 a night per person it is a steal, and it is very laid back.
The owner is a lovely friendly man who rides around on his quad with his dogs on the back, stopping to chat, see if you need firewood etc. There is an honesty shop with the basics.
The site is only a 10 minute walk to Broadhaven beach, which is dog-friendly. There is a lovely pub and tea rooms as well.
Don't be misled by previous comments about having to pay for loos. If you want to hire your own private chemical loo you can, and it will placed next to where you are camping. If not there are several free loos to use, and whilst they look like chemical ones from the outside, inside you will find a decent flushing toilet. There was also the addition of an inside shower this year albeit a cold one- also free to use.

Unfortunately, I will not be planning another stay at Bosherton Camping (also known as Buckspool Farm Camping). We had a rather unpleasant experience with both the site and the Owner there.
We experienced hidden charges (and received aggression from a quick angering owner when we questioned said charges on our departure day when faced with these).
The site was unruly, more so than you’d expect for a family friendly site in the school holidays, with more than the usual expected noise which continued until the early hours, loose dogs using our pitch as a toilet and naked children spitting at us through our car window whilst driving past.
Despite being a 'no booking - just arrive and pitch up' site, it turned out that there were unmarked or signposted reserved areas and half way through pitching we were moved to the back of a field away from the 'facilities' (which comprise of a portaloo and a couple of wooden shacks with flush toilets). The website states no open fires, but there were multiple large open fires both nights.
This may not be everyone's experience at this site. It seems to be used by a lot of regulars and friends of the owner, but as solo females meeting at the site, wanting to keep our selves to our selves, follow the site rules as per the website, pitch up and be left alone in peace, this wasn't the place for us.
The surrounding area is gorgeous with many point of interest, and some stunning walks. The local pub – St Govans Inn – is superb, with very friendly staff, a section for dogs and high quality and delicious food. I’ll certainly be returning to the area, but next time I will stay at another campsite.
Even at £6 per person per night (without cunting extra hidden charges), I wouldn’t say the site is value for money.

Beware of hidden costs and unwritten rules!
The campsite is in a beautiful location but is misrepresented.
The website indicates that there is no need to book - 'just turn up and pitch' but there are areas 'reserved' that are not marked. If you pitch in one of these areas you will be asked to move.
The advertised cost is £6 per night with an honesty box on the gate if the owner doesn't personally collect your payment. There is no mention of a charge for toilets - portaloos are dotted round the field. We were charged £25 for the use of the portaloo for 2 days.
Some of the water points are reserved for regular visitors - this can get very confusing as these are not marked and you will only find out if you try to use one of them!
The site is dog friendly but not monitored so you may need to clean your area before pitching your tent - we saw a significant amount of dog mess all over the site - not ideal when children are playing there.
The site is very noisy, more than the usual, muted, family gatherings in the evenings.
The location is beautiful and the local pub (The St Govan's Inn) serves delicious food throughout the day. The Bosherston Lily ponds are close by and well worth a visit. The coastal path is a gorgeous walk and offers stunning sea views in good weather.
While the surrounding area has a lot to offer I would advise caution when choosing this campsite as there are more negatives than positives overall.

This is the second campsite in Bosherton, past the village itself and quite near the sea. This one accepts tents and motorhomes. It also accepts caravans but only strictly by booking in advance.
Not to be confused with Bosherton Campsite which is just before you drive through the village, and which does NOT accept any caravans. See here details of that site

Honestly my favourite campsite, there is a beach about a 5-10 minute walk away, friendly people, lots of kids end up playing together and it’s just an amazing place to be.
There’s an honesty shop which wasn’t really a necessary mention but I can’t leave it out 😂 This is just an amazing choice for camping either with kids or with a partner.
The man who collects the money comes out on his tractor going to each tent, not to mention the great prices. Another sweet aspect is the man who comes every year with his tortoise 😂😂
This is just one of my favourite campsite if not my favourite.
One thing I’d say is that the shower facilities could be better, though as long as you keep your bathers on its alright.
