We're used to staying on CLs and paying approximately £15 pn , although the going rate seems to be creeping up to cover energy-costs etc. Hence, I was a little apprehensive about paying £30 per night, but booked as it's the only site in the area where we wanted to stay.
The site is brand new and maintained pristinely, and must have been a huge investment for the owners, with state-of-the-art fully-serviced pitches, all separated by healthy laurels which will mature into lovely hedges.
The location is perfect, on the edge of gorgeous woodland, with both central Danbury and the river Chelmer /Paper Mill Lock less than two miles away (to the north and south) through fabulous woodland /countryside walks.
This is a much-needed facility within the beautiful district of Little Baddow/Danbury, and we will DEFINITELY make time to return at least once a year.
