Fab little site.
Booked from the website and paid to join Greener Camping club.
Good pre-arrival information from Steve the owner/manager who welcomes each arrival individually.
Nice field and has the feel of a very traditional camping experience.
We were given a choice of pitches. Many of the pitches had picnic tables which was handy.
Very friendly on-site atmosphere.
Lovely location in a quiet dale with amazing walking in all directions. Good pub doing meals nearby and another at Longnor (where there's also a shop - 2 mile walk over fields and footpaths.
Recycling is encouraged.
Very reasonably priced.
2 loos and 2 showers each for gents and ladies. All pretty close together and immediately adjacent to outdoor wash-up and bin area. Maybe not one for the shy toileters!
All kept really clean, soap and paper towels provided.
We'd def be back :)

A quiet site in a lovely location.
Owner friendly and helpful.
Facilities fairly basic, but good. As expected from description.
Would stay there again.

Great campsite in a position where we wanted to be. Basic, clean 2 toilets and 2 showers (for each sex) 4 of each in total)) but all work, along with 2 outside pots and pans sinks.
Plenty of recycling bins and nice welcome from the owner.
Would recommend to anyone who likes a country walk or a pint at the end of the road (400m ?) and would go back too.
Enjoy the switchback road on the way down from main Ashbourne to Buxton road and we missed the campsite sign and turn too.

Booked this site as part of the Greener Camping Club sites.
The weather could have been better, not the sites fault but the views around the area were amazing.
2 toilets and 2 showers in the male block, I assume the same in the female block. Potwashing area had hot water, lovely.
The one dry day I spent wood burning at the van, everyone who walked past said hello, which was nice.
I'll be back at some point I'm sure.
