 Great little site.
Handy for coastal resorts on this occasion but probably good when exploring inland.
Facilities close at hand.
Shops and pubs not far up the road.

A lovely site (even in freezing weather!) with the best facilities we have encountered on a CL - radiator, underfloor heating and an excellent shower.
The owner, Andrew, is extending the site for the future and it will no doubt be to the high standard he has currently attained. He was proud to show us what he has done, and is doing, and was very knowledgeable about the area and able to give routes for walking and cycling.
Definitely a site to visit again.

Loved everything about this campsite, our first time staying here but it won't be our last.
Excellent location (we were visiting family in the area) and Andrew the owner was really friendly and told us plenty of walks in the local area.
Facilities were excellent as well.
A big thumbs up from us!

Just returned from this site
Pitches flat, hardstanding
Adults only
Nice toilet block, 2 toilets /wetrooms (heated)
Owner very friendly and knowledgable, nothings too much trouble for him, gives good advice on where all the walks are
Nice pub (crown and anchor) just a few minutes walk from the site

Site opened ? September 2022, so everything was fresh. Lovely warm toilet block, 2 separate areas with shower and toilet, and washing up facilities opposite the main door.
Getting on to the pitch was a bit tricky, mover was used, due to the angle needed, and a set of poles in the way (?purpose of these). Though owner did say we could face whichever way. Level areas, grassed and even a wooden swing bench. Would be really nice later in year.
Large enclosed dog area, but think some would get through the gap of the gate. Few sheep in neighbouring field, good to see.
TV reception good.
Advised to book for meal at local pub, just few minutes up road. We booked for early evening and it was already quite busy (dogs allowed). Good choice of food/menu so could have starter and then small main - ideal for me.
Ground drained well after gales and heavy rain, porch awning not put up due to weather forecast, and glad we didn't.
Owner friendly, keen to explain local walks and to get feedback from campers. Maybe be changing the pitch layout later in year. Excellent value for money.
