 Lovely location by river, quiet, and with superb views. Some local walks but many more further afield if you’re happy to drive. Some beautiful scenery nearby.
Very friendly helpful owners and breakfast orders available daily (croissants, baguette etc. ).
Shower etc. Facilities a little variable (2 locations open when we stsyed but I think there’s a third presumably high season only) but reasonable - clean and water hot.
Unfortunately on-site restaurant was closed while we were there and good places to eat in St Claude (c. 30 mins walk) seem to be few - we ended up eating in the van for our whole stay, which was disappointing. Reviews of the nearest restaurant, a hotel, were so poor we didn’t risk it!
