Due to where we live and store caravan needed a site which would be close enough to service company but would be happy for us to take 'van off site for the day.
This is a wee gem of a site and we will be back to explore more of the local and wider area.
Unique facilities - elsan toilet and separate shower on site - everything we needed easily within reach and we were the only ones there!
Plenty of wildlife - mainly birds, heard way more than we saw! and didn't get to see the badgers but heard them!
As with any rural site, roads can be challenging especially with a larger unit but close to motorway and plenty of lovely towns and attractions.
Owners very helpful and lovely to speak to.
Really lovely to stay on a site that is so in harmony with nature.

Originally booked for a one-night stop-over on the way back to West Yorkshire from Ullapool, but decided to double-up to split the long journey.
A basic site, but all the better for it. Hardstanding pitches with hook-up, easy access to drinking water, nice shower (in a wooden hut), porta-potti in an adjoining hut.
What really nails the site is the peace, tranquillity and the efforts the owners are making to protect and encourage wildlife.
Easy access off the M74, TV signal OK, nice walks from the site and evening visits from the local badgers.

Brilliant site!
Found down a quiet lane, far enough from the road you don’t hear it.
Has a children’s play area, horses, donkeys, cows and sheep! One toilet and shower where the pitches are and another toilet in the farmyard- a short distance away.
Lots of walks and places to explore as the site is set in a lot of land.
Would definitely stay again

A unique CS where the whole concept of encouraging wildlife has been the foundation of the farm for years.
The site is only five minutes from the M74 yet the only sound you'll hear is the birds and assorted animals that call this place home.
Facilities are good as are the views and the site owner is friendly and helpful.
Make sure you walk round the man made loch and the farm trail, easy walking and sure to give you the opportunity of seeing a wide variety of animals and birds.
Highly recommended.
