Avoid the weekend when it is packed and noisy made up of weekend campers and day trippers.
During the week it’s lovely and peaceful. Checkin via a terminal behind reception and entry via ANPR (make sure you type in your registration correctly!).
The on site restaurant not open on Monday and Tuesday. Good facilities including dishwashers and cooking hot plates (both extra). There is wifi with good coverage but it is so slow we gave up.
The lake is lovely but limited access points due to private land. Great cycle paths. Train nearby to get into Munich. Two supermarkets nearby but up a steep hill.
Pitch was a good size (much, much longer than our 7m motorhome) but quite narrow (just room for our 2. 2m wide moho and wind out awning). Some pitches are a different shape but it’s hard to tell from the site plan.
We had 16A electric, water and waste drain on pitch.
Only one other British outfit on site, the rest were German and one Swiss - if you want to get away from Brits on holiday then stay here!

We stayed for 4 nights on our way to Austria. When we booked the site, we were requested to pay the full amount which was paid by bank transfer which included all the electricity (in Austria it is charged separately).
Site was easy to find & booking in very efficient with perfect English spoken. The barrier to the site is operated by automatic number plate recognition and we were issued with passes for showers.
We had a fully serviced pitch, but unfortunately this was on a busy part of the site and it felt that there were permanent comings & goings of cars, bikes, scooters & skate boards, although no noise at night.
We probably should have requested quiet pitch. Toilet & shower facilities were excellent and the showers were like a personal wet room. There is a restaurant on site where we had one meal, which was very good, if a little expensive.
The lake looks beautiful, but unfortunately dogs are not allowed in - which seems to be the norm for Germany & Austria; excellent dog walk though.
There is also a shop on site where fresh bread & cakes can be purchased. We would definitely stay again if were travelling in that area.
