Adele met us on arrival and gave us advice regarding the site and the local area. She is really nice.
The site is on a slope, the toilets are portaloos and there were no showers.
£20 per night for a tent pitch is not cheap considering the lack of facilities. However, the location is fantastic.

First time camping with a new partner. Could have gone terribly wrong but thanks to choosing Crookhill Farm our experience was nothing short of awesome.
The location is perfect. A short walk to the reservoir and views of the water from your tent.
Adele met us on arrival, gave us some advice and pointers (don't park nose in to the trees) grabbed our logs and off we went.
The site was busy but still quiet. A perfect place to unwind after a walk.

Basic farm field site with portaloos, and no water on site. Wash up quite a walk up to the farm house.
Lots of space but site very sloping, so most people stuck to the edge. If it was any wetter I’m sure many folks would have had trouble getting off.
Good location for exploring the area and the site owner was very friendly popping round the site frequently checking everyone was ok.

The site is on a quite steep gradient. Once you accept that, it’s fab. If you are in a van, take some levelling ramps. In a tent, arrange to sleep heads up.
From Start to finish the lady who run the site was awesome and very attentive. 10/10 for site management.
The site is basic as it’s permitted by the national trust. So accept it.
It’s located right beside the reservoir itself so the local walls are all close by.
LadyBower pub a short 20 min walk away and excellent food.
I love the place.
We would all return again.
