 We arrived here quite late on a Monday evening, not having booked!
Happily, there was room for us on a lovely flat piece of mown grass, adjacent to both road and pub.
Jane, the owner, was very helpful and accommodating.
I can’t fault anything about this certificated location.
The pub was very traditional and the local clientele very friendly and welcoming. Indeed, everyone we spoke to in the village was 100%.
We’d definitely stay here again.

Camped at the Swan with my one man tent while solo backpacking Offa's Dyke path.
Proprietor Jane was friendly, welcoming and gave me the choice of camping in the nearby field or in the pub garden.
I choose the garden because it was closer to the facilities but on reflection should have chosen the field to avoid tree sap dripping on my tent. Rookie mistake!
Toilet and outside tap accessible 24/7 were welcome as was the friendly assembled company in the bar.
No food available but plenty of bar snacks and great range of Ciders.
No hesitation in recommending the Swan.
