This was the first camping trip for my 13 year old grandson and I. We had a lovely two days exploring the area.

Our hosts Karen and Gary, we’re very welcoming and always on hand to answer our questions.

The facilities were kept spotlessly clean which allayed my preconceived fears of a compost loo! We hired a fire pit to toast marshmallows which Gary cheerfully set up for us after dark.

There was a lovely feeling of space as the camping spots were well spread out.

We made use of the gazebo as it poured with rain on two occasions.

A small friendly campsite which I highly recommend.
