 This is a great campsite for those who like off grid, wild camping. We have a Landy so were able to camp in the woods, with no-one nearby, and with a view of the sunrise.
It can get a bit tricky to negotiate some of the tracks in the wood when the weather is bad, so a 4x4 is probably better, although there are also fields that are used for rallys, which are flat and easy to access.
There are no camping amenities in the wood so you have to bring everything you need, but I think older children would love being taught basic camping skills.
The owner is very friendly and helpful, we have been several times and love it.

Great place, proper wild camping even though ground soaked, car handle well found a decent spot
Checked new equipment for the summer.
Reminds me of a different time when you could camo without all mid cons.
Will visit again
