 Friendly receptionist who spoke a little English. Good sized flat pitches; some are in a very open area backing onto a ditch with a footpath behind, others are close to statics -we were directed to the latter despite the site being fairly empty.
Pool warm but like the sanitaires a bit shabby and tired. Couldn’t find the potable water tap, used the one on the dedicated shellfish sink!
There's a crazy golf green at the entrance. Beach 5 mins away but no view. Lovely walking and cycling (flat!) - St Pierre lighthouse close by, plus La Torche beach, which is popular with surfers - we also saw a large group of horse riders so presumably that's also an option locally.
Bar, restaurant and shop not open early July - we were directed to St Guénolé, a 15 min pavement walk, which has nice restaurants open every day including on Sunday evening, a boulangerie and an interesting exhibition at one of the canneries, plus their shop.
Expensive at €23 (inc tourist tax) with ehu given the lack of facilities - according to their tariff this was mid season - but a nice stop.
