 Easy booking system, friendly greeting.
Views are great, beautiful walks and dog friendly.
Not really for anyone uncertain in walking.
A relaxing venue for certain.

Easy to find from J25 of the M1. Coming from the north, make sure you go right round to the last junction signed Risley, but if you find yourself on the A52 towards Derby, 2 miles along turn left and go from there. Adds on a few miles.
The site is on No Mans Lane, which is a bit narrow and potholed, but ok with care. It's the 2nd Farm, access is easy. There is a new concrete hardstanding, which is difficult to get onto.
You are meant to use your mover to get on from the bottom, but it's impossible to get the caravan in the right position. The hedge needs cutting away and some sort of hard area made opposite the hardstanding. We drove from above, over the grass which was muddy and were told off.
Once on, it's ok, good views to south and west, but the tap and CDP are too far away. It should be a great site, and with a few tweaks it would be. Easier for a small motorhome ATM.
We would use it again, but in drier conditions and would hope that some adjustments were made. It's a good stopover.
A basic £15 pn, but we paid £6pn for EHU which seems a lot.
