 An OK site, but at this time of year you have to stay on the stable yard as the field is too wet. Easy to find, just off the main road to the right almost exactly half way between Halstead and Sudbury.
A bit expensive at £25 pn. It was cold for the first couple of nights and the water tap froze, it needs lagging.
Halstead is ok, has an Aldi (just past the garage, coming from the north). Sudbury is better, has good walks near the river and decent shops.
No very good walks nearby and no good views. There is a lake at the other end of the site, across the field, with a boat you can use. A friendly horse in another field.
We would not stay again, not enough to do, not the fault of the site.
