Clearly signposted from town, 20-30 min walk in.
? Female sanitare better than male.
No bar when visited.
Pitch generous, managed to get satellite TV.
Very good restaurant in town, opposite church, English spoken but seem to appreciate our French efforts.
Good as stopover but not for us a longer stay.

This excellent municipal site is by a lake, parkland and woods on the edge of an historic little town with links to the French poet Chateaubriand, and its own chateau.
It is generally quiet and peaceful, and is a 10/15 minute walk to the main part of the town round by the lake. It has excellent dog-walks (important for us!) directly from the site, through the woods and round the lake.
The site has a variety of pitches, some shaded, some open, some enclosed by high hedges, some by lower, some all grass and some partly reinforced. There are plenty of electric hook-ups and water points close to most pitches.
To the left hand side of the site there are a number of mostly privately owned mobil-homes. The more open top end of a site is by a quietish road (very quiet overnight) and there is a sports and tennis centre next door, but this has no negative impact on the site.
There is a small Carrefour supermarket in the town, a HyperU with fuel 2 or 3 minutes drive up the road, and a Lidl and Intermarche with fuel (and a McDonald's) a few more minutes drive, on a business park just to the north of the town
The sanitaires are modern, well maintained and kept very clean, and upstairs in the same building is a communal lounge with books and games.
There is free wi-fi but we found it pretty slow.
The managers are friendly and helpful, and Liliane speaks excellent English or is very tolerant of your attempts to speak French.
This is the third time in 2 years we have used this site and we will happily use it again.
