What a welcome when we arrived – one of best I think we’ve had over the years.

Once we were shown to the pitch we were told to head down for a complimentary drink namely a pint each of local beer, an apple dessert and bowl of cherries followed by another 2 pints one of which was declined but not the accompanying bottle of red for later.

Popular site with some shaded and some open pitches; the open pitches had large umbrellas and many a table and chairs.

Ehu and water close to the level pitches as is grey water disposal however black water disposal is a bit less convenient.

Toilets and washrooms are roomy with piping hot water. Wonder sometimes if there are enough given the enlarged site.

There’s a restaurant on the campsite with a variety of reasonably priced and quite ample meals sometimes accompanied by a second complimentary drink.

Payment for pitch and meals is in euros and cash only.

Wifi flies throughout the site.

Blagaj village is a 15 minute flatish walk away with a few shops and a Bingo supermarket conveniently on the way in.

While there’s a bus to Mostar to the village the campsite ordered a taxi for us and we shared with a neighbour. The total return cost for the 4 of us was 20eu and as the taxi picked us up at reception and dropped us at the entrance to the old town and bridge, collected us from the same place and took payment after picking us up it was a no brainer.
