 We fancied a day at the seaside so chose this site from the ACSI book. We have previously stayed at a neighbouring site, but found this more to our taste.
The site is not actually on the seaside, but there is an excellent cycle/footpath along the road which leads you to the village which has a lovely beach and promenade. The village is very much a modern seasonal holiday place, we have seen it very busy, but this time it was extremely quiet.
The campsite is set back from the road, and has its own access road. The site is flat, the pitches are sandy, but did have some foliage growing, and some dividing hedges. There are lots of mobile homes here, it is a holiday park, but not too large.
We arrived in the middle of a rain storm so there were lots of puddles, but they did drain quite well. The young man at reception invited us to choose our pitch, they were in an area together not far from the sanitary block. The block is mixed gender, quite modern. Washing up is next door. Everything was clean.
We enjoyed our stay here and would use this site in preference to the one next door.
