 Excellent site, very well managed by a really helpful and friendly host. Cost was really reasonable. I had 2 dogs who were warmly welcomed and given an hospitality package each, of high class products
All facilities were extremely clean and hygienic as were the refuse area, with good recycling.
Fresh rolls can be ordered each day and are ready for collecting at breakfast next day, they were delicious
The host was a mine of information about local facilities and distance to them, he told me about the local Meissen Ceramics factory and when the tours were. It was an excellent tour, in various languages, showing how the ceramic was made and hand painted
It is also a great site for visiting Dresden and Colditz castle, I also visited the Terezin Holocaust Memorial Museum at the top of the Czech Republic around 2 hours away
My visit to the campsite was very enjoyable and int the town of Meissen itself which can be walked to following a river path and cycle route
