 Stayed here in August during a very heavy rain storm. When it did clear the views were beautiful as we had expected with golden sands and blue water.
It is definitely a campsite if you are interested in canoeing/ kayaking /boating in general.
Not the easiest place to find but well worth the effort.
Kathleen the owner/supervisor was exceptionally helpful.
The facilities were functional but due to the weather a little mucky at times.

Great location and clean facilities that functioned very well.
Pitches worked well and plenty of space.
Having direct access to the beach was awesome.

Fantastic site Kathleen is lovely 😍
Lovely friendly family site,
Lovely new toilet block and lovely and clean.
Lovely small beach for children to play.

Lovely campsite, beautiful views and direct beach access,
The toilets were nice and modern, had soap and loo roll!
Would definitely come back, there were even hardly any midges!

Beautifully situated place.
New sanitary facilities, but impractical design and dirty.
No WiFi, no possibility for charging mobile devices, no cooking facilities.
Fee is collected in cash and without a receipt.

Perfect camp site for our wee swimming group.
Lots of level ground for camping, great toilet block with showers (£1 for 3 minutes we heard, but as we were in and out of water 4 times a day we did not need them).
Clean and tidy washing up area.
Very friendly and great spot to see sunsets
