 We did a stopover here as we wanted to visit nearby Cotignac.
This is one of the worst campsites we've ever visited and, if it had been earlier in the day, we'd not have stayed.
The campsite is situated on a hillside and the terrain is rocky. This is a municipal and wasn't busy when we stayed but we were only offered a choice of 2 pitches, both small and with a fresh covering of sharp gravel so not ideal for our tent. Luckily, we had 2 additional groundsheets with us, which gave some protection to our SIG.
The showers and toilets were vile. Strong words, but unfortunately apt. Dirty and stained and dated. The showers are operated via a chip in the provided site bracelet (€10 deposit) and provide 7 minutes of water flow. The non-adjustable shower heads dribble close to the wall (and you do not want to touch those walls, believe me!).
To be fair, this is only a 1 star site so we didn't have high expectations. But, the sanitary provision was just horrible and the pitch not suitable for a tent.
This site is possibly better suited to those travelling in campervans with own facilities. Would we return? That would be a firm "Non!".
