 Very much enjoyed our stay here, we booked via All Camps website and booked the standard (forest) pitch due to the length of our motorhome (Over 5m), however many outfits over 5m were in Seaside slots which I would possibly go for next time.
The complex leads to a lovely sandy beach. The pool is nice and heated, one inside and one outside, only trouble is they insist you wear speedo's or figure hugging swimming shorts which was very annoying. They sell thong like ones for the larger figure, but I bought some elsewhere. Thought I could get away with wearing loose fitting shorts but got chucked out of pool.
The complex was quiet and the bar/food area/supermarket would often be shut, which I thought was missing a trick. Read other reviews re not level pitches, so bought my ramps, and reversed onto site and we were level without.
However did lend a set of ramps to another couple behind us who were very wonky and they were happy. Another French A class large motor home got very stuck and needed expert help getting off a pitch being towed off so reverse in.
We were out of season, so free buses to the Noirmoutier did not exist and the coach would miss the time of the market. We did ask reception for a Taxi and that was 25 euros each way and reception told us to email taxi firm which seemed to be a bit of a faff.
However local town Barbatre has a decent supermarket, 2 lovely Patisserie's some restaurants and a tabac, post office church and a big market on a Wednesday.
All in all a great site, 13 nights with electric £260.
