 This is not a loveable campsite but it has two great advantages: access to the excellent public transport system and proximity to the Danube for a profusion of traffic-free cycle tracks.
We had failed to get into the ACSI CCC site (also listed here) so it was expensive, 44eu without electricity, 49. 5eu with.
The tent area was grassy and looked quite pleasant. The rest is backed by trees and hedges but essentially a very large dusty carpark, divided into pitches that are narrow but long.
That means it is possible to keep a reasonable separation, but only if units are staggered forward and back. We returned one day to find vans within touching distance on either side (both Dutch) and chose to move a few metres.
Bus stops at the entrance have two 92B buses an hour in each direction (get the WienMobil app) but if there's not one due it's an easy 10 minute walk to the Metro. Various ticket options combine buses, Metro and trams. There's quite a large supermarket at the station.
The facilities are good, including toilet disposal, grey water dropping, recycling and even a kitchen. With the site full we only queued briefly once each for toilet and shower.
