 A very well kept site, with level gravel hardstandings. The owner was raking ours when we arrived. Make sure that you don't arrive until after 12 noon as the lane to the site is a narrow unmade track, ok with care, about 1/2 mile long.
Price per night is £22 with 10. Units of electricity included. We went over by about £3 in 7 days. We thought that was fine.
It's easy to find, about 2 miles from the M27 which must be the most mad motorway in the UK. Titchfield is about a mile and a half away, an attractive village with a Co op and one stop shop. There is a lovely walk by the canal, which looks like a river.
There are also walks along the coast path in various localities, and Titchfield Haven Bird Sanctuary, which you have to pay for. It would be handy for ferries to the Continent and of course to the Isle of Wight.
Unfortunately, the main reason for choosing this site was that I thought that you could sit in your caravan and watch the shipping in the Solent. You can't, the hedge is too high. You can just about see the hills on the Isle of Wight from the top caravan step. Site owner, please lower the hedge!
