Very quiet, just sheep and pheasants.
Five Hard standing pitches 4 taken by seasonal caravans, perfect as on our own for the 3 nights.
2 toilets one male, one female very basic but working.
Lots of country walks, also easy walk to estuary and Arnside.
Lovely bakery, chippy was shut so settled for sausage rolls.

Liked it was very quiet, just sheep and pheasants and very glad it was a Hard standing.
The field was water logged and we struggled to get the motorhome onto the space. Was sent a drawing of where to pitch and never saw anybody. Electric and water within easy reach.
There were 2 toilets one male one female in a breeze block shed, the only good thing was they worked.
Plenty of walking in the area, town and estuary about 30mins walk away. Bakery in town was lovely, excellent sausage rolls.
For the price would not visit again.

We stumbled upon Hazelslack Caravan Park, we have a seasonal pitch there.
It’s a little bit of heaven. There are 5 pitches, there are toilets but no showers which isn’t a problem as most caravans have showers in them.
Tiny problem sorted out immediately by Christine, the estate manager.
We love it here and so would you.

Just what I like, an out of the way, quiet, basic campsite.
Travelled with my dogs and had the site all to myself - bliss.
On and off site dog walking with amazing countryside.
Toilet and sink facilities adequate.
Only negative comment is the grass pitches need cutting, grass was so long my trousers got wet.
Having said that, I loved my stay.

Visited this site as part of a rally the other year for May bank holiday. It is a really nice site with fantastic surroundings. The site is only very basic, it does not have any electric hook-up or toilets and showers. The access to the site is via a single track road approx 1/2 mile long. Care needs to be taken entering the site as it is a very tight turn into the site itself. The 5 van site is fenced off and to the right, however if you are on a rally you have use of the full field. The field is not level by any stretch of the imagination but there are some nice spots. The far end of the field towards the statics tends to be boggy so try and avoid pitching there if the weather isn't looking too great. If you are pitching an awning then remember to take some cardboard as there is plenty of sheep droppings that you will need to cover up and take plenty of straps if you pitch at the very top of the hill.

A brilliant site when on a rally as full use of the very large, very beautifull field can be had. The 5 van pitches are not quite as nice as the complete rally field. It is one of the nicest locations with about a 1 1/2 mile walk into Arnside over fields. It is only a very basic of sites facility wise.
