This is a peaceful small site and the owners where very helpful. The owner came down to the gate to meet us a as we had no clue where to find the site. I thought this a very courteous thing to do. She showed us where to pitch and gave us detailed instructions of where to pitch etc. Dogs are welcome and we had our pup with us.
Good stay all in all it was a stop over on the way to wales very much appreciated

As promised we made a return to this site, again Terry and Jan made us very welcome. The site has not changed much to the eye but they have been putting hours of work in the background, such as filling in the corners of the drive with concrete to help enter and exit the site. We had a pleasant visit and yes it did snow but only a little.

A small but well maintained site with very friendly owners. Absolutely immaculate small toilet/shower block. Security is good with 24hr CCTV and owners living on-site. Built-in BBQs at every pitch. Top pitches are on quite steep slope but lower pitches are flat. No childrens play area and no ball games. Site is next to quite a busy main road so would probably suit couples rather than families with young children, although the children in our group all had a good time. Dogs welcome. Excellent organic wholefood shop few miles away. Lots of good walks nearby and beautiful scenery. Fishing available across the road. The pitches have TV booster aerial points which you can use. We enjoyed our stay.

This site is a great, the owner Terry and Jan are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The owners are working on a second toilet block re: review Aug 05. And for walkers there are some lovely views. We had an unfortunate situation arise and we got snowed in, we were able to leave our unit until we could collect it the following weekend this gave us an opportunity to sample the delights of this site again. It's a must visit. We will return.

This little site is an absolute Gem. The owners gave us a warm welcome, helped get us safely onto our pitch and then a comprehensive briefing on what was available on the site and in the area. Everything was spotlessly clean and the grass was neatly manicured. Barbeques, charcoal and tools were available at each pitch and there are plenty of picnic tables and benches so campers don't need to eat sitting on the floor.
This is a nice quiet sight with magnificent views an ideal area for hill walking and sight seeing. Make sure you take the essentials as the nearest shops are around 5 miles away. We will definitely go back

We only stayed one night here as we needed a rest stop on the way to Wales. This is a lovley little site with only a few pitches. The owners are great and very helpful. There is only one shower but as its such a small site we didn't enounter a problem with that. Some great views but located on the side of a main road so you do get a bit of road noise during the night.
Not much around the area we travelled a long way to find a pub. Might have just been us going the wrong way. There are sone stone circles nearby on the hills that are worth visiting for the walk if anything. If you like a nice small quiet site this is for you!
