Seasonal pitch holder here and have to say I love it at Clayton. It's really peaceful, well laid out has plenty to do, shower block is perfectly clean and staff are lovely. I hope to be here for many years, and already have my eye on a static.

Stayed just one night while touring. It's a large complex with many mobile/holiday home with tourers in amongst them. Pitches are all in modest sized bays and are gravel/shingle with no grass. Each has EHU & water which was great but unfortunately I couldn't access the Elsan disposal point as it's kept locked with no one present during the evening to provide a key. Facilities block was spacious and clean. It had heaters that come on as you enter but have gone off by the time you step out of the shower when they're actually needed.
Price was good for a one night stay but wouldn't want to stay here much longer

Good clean family run site, The campsite is well placed for walking and has a nice river bank that you can walk for miles, to get to the river you have a steep hill to walk down,
The toilet facilities were very very good as were the showers a very high standard and very clean,
The club house was very good as well,
The only bad point I can give is the price they charge for gas which is above normal site costs,
A new office block is very well laid out and we will be back,
What a nice good clean family run site
All good but please sort your gas price out
