 Peaceful and tranquil. Just what I wanted, with gorgeous scenery. If you want haven or butlins you couldn't be further from the mark. Showers and launderette are clean and functional. Staff are very friendly and helpful with brilliant local knowledge. Has a very relaxed and family tolerant feel.

Very steep hill on entry, set in a valley with lots of statics and seasonal touring caravans
No one around to show us our pitch, not even a sign up, so we rang the warden, we were told to pitch anywhere, no tv reception, only if you have dish on a very long pole, wifi available at £6. 00 a night, didn't bother.
Shower was awful, 50p charge for tepid water and only very dimly lit due to expired bulb in light.
Still no one around to collect money the next day, so ended up ringing the warden a second time, we were told to post it through the letterbox.
The reason we chose this site was its close proximity to Aberystwyth

A lovely site set in a small valley surrounded by trees. It has a river running around it which is very clear!(for any fishermen- trout in here). A small site with toilet and shower block (to be re-furbished this year so I'm told)site shop, laundry room, small children's play area and dog walking area. Very quiet and peaceful place about 2 miles from Borth Beach. Well worth a visit.
