We booked this site at the last minute for a 1 night stop over. It was very cheap to stay.
It was very basic where the feeling is that the other tourers there were long term ones.
The manager/owner was friendly and showed us around. The facilities were very basic, but it suited us fine for just the one night. We wouldn't of stayed longer.
We didn't take a look at the area around us. It was roughly 2 miles out of Peterborough.
It was very quiet which upon arrival thought that it might not be that way.

Just come back from a splendid bank holiday weekend at this site.
Norma & her family are very friendly, helpful & down to earth people.
The site is level & surrounded by trees on a country lane approx 1.5 miles from the outskirts of Peterborough
Facilities are basic, but this is reflected in the very good rates.
The site is constantly visited by wild song birds, (Greenfinches, Goldfinchs, Sparrows, etc) & there is an aviary on site stocked with Cockatiels, Zebra Finch's & Parakeet's.
There is also 2 sheep on the site which love to be petted.
If you are looking for a quite, down to earth, back to basic's campsite, I don't think you will beat this site
