I last stayed here in sept 2009 having stayed many times previously, unfortunately the following year it became season stayers only and in 2011 when I drove past a few weeks ago I find it has now closed which is a great shame as it was a great site.
Hope this saves someone a wasted journey.

I stayed at this site while we were attending a wedding near by.I know I should have written this review before but I just never got round to doing it.
This site is in a great location just by the beach with views over the bay. The whole site is spotless. Plenty of water and waste points. The toilet and shower block was the best I have ever seen.
A lovely quite site with plenty of places to go. Good pub food just a short walk away. All in all a great little site. One that I would certainly revisit.

Just got home from this site today & it`s a thumbs up from me.
The site is small but the usual facilities were available except a shop but that`s no hardship as there is a grocer shop & newsagent within easy walking distance.
Fresh water & electric hookup points plentiful & the toilet/shower block was exceptional & cleaned twice a day.
Easy access to the beach and a 10 minute walk to Weston via the beach or the local bus service was very good running every 20mins at a cost of £1.50 (adult) each way.
Although this was the height of the season there wasn`t loads of children running around so if kids aren`t your thing you`ll be ok here.

We stayed on this site for two nights on the 26th/27th May just before the Bank Holiday Monday 2007. We had one of the hard standing pitches that overlooked the beach and Brean Down. It was a lovely view, but on a slight incline towards the beach, despite being flat. We tried several attempts at using the chocks to bring the front end of the van up, but they continually slipped out because of a patch of oil on the pitch. We resorted to backing the van in to level it in the end, which was a shame as it meant we had to have the back end of our van to the view and look out on the campsite. A pitty, but nothing else we could do. Wouldn't have been any way of pegging down an awning on the hard standing pitches as it was a long strip of tarmac/concrete - ideal for the van but no use to peg down any kind of awning - bear this in mind if asking for a hard standing pitch. Most of the grass pitches are in the centre or along side the road, although there are a few in the corner that overlook the beach. Excellent location if you are looking for a quiet beach side holiday. No entertainment facilities on site, but toilet, shower, washing up etc facilities were the best we have ever seen. Small site, and while we were there, no children running around but that might just have been co incidence. You can take your car or van (not caravan) on the beach for a small charge. Beware of sinking mud/sand - we were amazed at how many people ignored the clear warnings and had to be called back by the beach patrol. The gate to the campsite had to be kept shut at all times, so one of you needed to get out and open the gate and close it each time you entered or left. The wardens were really helpful, showing us to our pitch and tirelessly getting the electricity sorted out when it continually kept dropping out. I think they must have a low amperage, as they said that it wasn't normal and that they thought it could be someone who had come on site over the weekend who was tripping it out (wasn't us as it kept going off even when we were not using it). The wardens were on the same circuit as us, so knew when it dropped out, but each time it did, they had to phone up to the farm house to get someone to go and sort it and switch it back on again - bit of a pain for them! Site was very well kept and a lovely location but nothing for children, more of an adult site I would say. Golf nearby and pubs a short walk. Dogs allowed on the site and on the beach. Sunday night was very windy, and with the sea right behind us, the van was sqaying quite a lot and the rain pelting down, but other than that we really enjoyed it. Would certainly go back again, but ask for a different pitch.

Well located site right on the sea front - when the tide's in your van will possibly be hit by waves if you get a good spot. Site facilities were good, clean and well maintained. Two pubs a few minutes walk from the site serving good food and beer.
It is possible to walk to Weston Super Mare along the sea front or its about £12 in a taxi. The town centre is pretty good - lively night life and the daytime brings fast food, rides and all the other things associated with and English sea side resort.
