I booked this park as it's near my daughter's home, We were welcomed by David when we arrived & shown to our very new mobile home. The home was so clean & spacious and was fully equipped in the kitchen with a lovely television, Free WIFI for my Niece too.
The swimming pool looked so inviting clear, clean water with sunbeds for us to relax on in the sunshine.
Who needs to go abroad, we will be back next year & have 2 homes next time as more family want to come too !
Thank you so much David & staff see you in 2015 the Chad Family

Arriving at beach farm I was less then warmly greeted, its not a holiday park its a residential park (A retirement park!). Although some of the residents are lovely others are annoyed by where you park your car as they have to go to work the next day, not what you expect on your holiday!
Don't be fooled by the website the children's park only consists of two tired swings, a tiny slide and a shabby se-saw.
The bar not open at all and if you would like to use the facilities you have to ask the management to open it especially for you.
The pool is not heated and if you have children be careful as a few caravens over look the pool, and the last thing you want is a resident overlooking the pool waving at your children with a cigarette hanging out their mouth!
You can see the fast food restaurant from the windows of your holiday home and its open until 12am!
The caravan itself contained 1 wine glass only, some chipped tumblers, bent culturally, the last holiday residents children toys, loom bandst and babies bibs. There was rubbish behind the sofas, public hair on the beds and in the showers, yuk!
I would not stay again and I hope after reading this review you will not stay either! Pakefield is lovely though!

I've been coming on holiday to Beach Farm Park for over 10 years now, staying in luxury holiday accommodation, luxury caravans and lodges.
I've always found the Westgate Family to be more than helpful and very friendly and we have spent many memorable nights in the Castle Bar.
I would not hesitate to recommend this park. My grandchildren have all used the beautiful outdoor swimming pool which is definitely heated.
The park as a whole is very clean and well maintained. The beach is only 500 yds away and there are all the local facilities and services you require very close by.
We have made many friends over the years who have also returned year after year to this lovely park.
The Westgate Family have invested substantial sums of money on the facilities of the park and you now can also get free wifi.
The beer garden is peaceful & sheltered with high quality play equipment for the children and a nice little area for the adults to chill out.

August 2004 A very small site which the site manager told me was being turned over to ALL statics, which there was plenty of in the adjacent section. Very poor shower block, broken showers, cold water at washbasins and laundrette sinks. Manager said he was very reluctant to repair, but we paid our money! oh what dreadful drainage, most campers and caravanners were water-logged. Maybe its a good idea its going all static because I'm sorry I would'nt recommend it. Best part of it was the club bar but the entertainers 'oh dear', ha, ha, ha.

August 2004 Very quiet site, but the tents were positioned in a small grass area big enough for three tents in the middle of a larger area which had caravans round the edge. There was no room to play any sort of games for the children whatsoever. It was also positioned right next to the A12 and traffic noise was very loud, sirens and lorries going past all night, especially being in a tent.
The toilet block was clean but small and old. 2 showers, 3 toilets. The bar area looked good, but we didn't use it. Very friendly owners. Lots of statics separate from touring area.
The advantages were that the play area for kids was very close to the tents, without being obtrusive, but was very poor, some swings really, and the pool, although small and not that clean was also adjacent to the touring area. McDonalds was 50 yards away! (you drove through the car park to get in to the site) and Safeways a 5 minute drive, couldn't walk there because you had to cross the A12. Beach 10 minute walk away, a bit pebbly but sandy further up.

June 2003 Me and the wife stayed for a week here but we hired a static caravan as our tourer was parked in Cornwall. It is a very clean site and well proportioned. The staff are very freindly as is it a family run site. There is a nice open air heated swimming pool which is ideal for the kids. Also it has a nice clubhouse with entertainment every night. There are also excellent laundry facilities. Lowerstoft South beach is only five minutes drive away and in the side streets there are free car parks. However, you can walk down from the campsite to Pakefield beach which takes about ten minutes. The shower and toilet block is very clean and tidy. The Camping and Caravan field has electric hook ups and the water supply and disposal points are in easy reach. This is a nice site and its a shame realley that I have to say it has one major drawback. The camping and caravan field is situated right along side the busy A12 dual carrigeway and is only 50 yards from the island. So traffic is either accelerating or de-accelerating constantly. If constant traffic noise day and night does not bother you then there would be little else you could fault this site for. Johno.
